AI Smart Mapping is an AI-supported feature to facilitate and accelerate the attribute mapping during the transformation of imported supplier item data in iPIM Supply. The feature is capable of suggesting iPIM Supply attributes and attribute values for the imported supplier attributes. This, in turn, reduces the effort of mapping attributes manually. The feature uses artificial intelligence as well as machine learning methods to analyze supplier item data and suggests matching iPIM attributes and attribute values.
The AI Smart Mapping is used in the attribute detection which is part of the catalog process step “Transformation”:
- In iPIM Supply, call up the desired catalog and carry out an import as described here.
- Go to the process step “Transformation” and carry out an attribute detection as described here. In this process, a dialog box is called up. Here you can allocate iPIM Supply attributes to the corresponding supplier attributes.
- In order to map a supplier attribute to a particular iPIM Supply attribute, select the attribute from the corresponding drop-down menu. The suggested iPIM Supply attributes are shown in a separated section of the menu. You can identify them by the icon
. - Map all the listed supplier attributes to the corresponding iPIM Supply attributes.
- In order to finish the attribute detection, click on the
button.
