The AI service Customer review approval is a features that enables a semi-automatic checking of customer reviews which were received from the respective shop systems. The feature minimizes the effort of approving customer reviews manually and it provides assistance when it comes to filtering inappropriate or flawed customer reviews. It can be used via the corresponding action in the “Product reviews” app. The checking results are shown in the “Rating list” table of the “Ratings” app via the corresponding attributes.
The approval of customer reviews is implemented in the form of a semi-automatic workflow process. The AI service Customer review approval is part of this process. The actual checking is carried out by AiHub. The AI service Customer review approval receives the checking results from AiHub, checks them and sends them back to iPIM. For this purpose, the AI service possesses an external REST API which is linked to AiHub.
The checking process consists of multiple individual checks that are applied to the customer reviews. In order to be approved, a customer review has to pass every check. If only one check isn’t passed, a customer review is not approved. Only in the case of an ambiguous result, a human check is required in the approval process.
The checking of customer reviews is carried out according to the following individual checks which can be configured via the corresponding AiHub or AI service properties:
