Using the “iSHOPFullExport” job, you can export data such as products, product data or categories from sales taxonomies to the corresponding iSHOP instances.
Set the export channel
In order to export products, product data or categories to the corresponding iSHOP instances, the export channel for a sales taxonomy needs to be set accordingly:
- Go to the “Taxonomies” area of the “Categories” section in iPIM CC.
- From the menu in the uppermost card, select the option “Sales channel [SALE]”. Following this, the existing sales taxonomies are shown in the table of the lower card.
- Choose the taxonomy from the list (in this example “novosales”).
Possibly use the text search or the column header tools to filter the list of taxonomies by a search term. - Double-click in the table cell of the “Export channel” column.
- Select the option “iSHOP export” from the menu and leave the table cell.
- Click on the button to save your settings.
Relevant properties
In the context of the iSHOP export, the following properties are relevant:
- dataexport.full.mode: Using this property, it can be specified whether all the products are exported, of whether only products allocated to categories of a sales taxonomy are exported. The property can possess the following values:
- ALL: All the products are exported.
- ASSIGNED: Only products allocated to sales taxonomy categories are exported.
- dataexport.ishop.allclients: Using this property, it can be specified whether the products from all the client levels are exported, or whether only products that originate from client levels that are permitted for the logged-in user are exported. The property can possess the following values:
- false: Only products that originate from client levels that are permitted for the logged-in user are exported.
- true: Products from all the client levels are exported.
- dataexport.full.path.ishop: Export path on the local app server (default value /home/ipim/data/export/ishop/full/)
- dataexport.ishop.locales: List of the IDs of the data locales that are to be exported
- dataexport.ishop.xsd.version: Version of the XML Schema Definition (XSD) of the respective iSHOP instance
Carry out the iSHOP export
In order to carry out an iSHOP export, proceed as follows:
- Go to the “Job Administration” area of the “Jobs & Processes” section in iPIM CC.
- Move the mouse cursor over the table cell of the “iSHOPFullExport” job. A menu bar with several buttons is then shown.
- Click on the
button to trigger the execution of the job. If the process was successful, a corresponding message will appear.
Once the job is run, the transfered data turn active in the respective iSHOP instance.
