Add text datasets

Using an example, this chapter explains how to add a text dataset to the product that has the product number “P7000151201”. The text dataset is of the text type “Plain” for unformatted text. It is stored on the english locale level as well as on the main context level.

Call up the product

In this step, the product with the product number “P7000151201” is called up:

  1. Go to the “Product details” app.
  1. Enter the product number in the search field of the “Product search” card.
  2. Click on the SEARCH button to carry out the search. Following this, the product is shown below the search field.

Create text dataset

In this step, a text dataset with the parameters mentioned above is created:

  1. Go to the “Texts” tab.
  1. In the “Product search” card, tick the product.
  1. Click on the CREATE button in the footer of the “Text list” card to call up the corresponding dialog box.
  1. If not already ticked, tick the product in the “Product/Item name” menu.
  2. Select a context level from the “Context menu” (in this case “Customer”).
  3. Select a text type from the “Text type” menu (in this case “Plain” for unformatted text).
  4. Select a locale level from the “Locale” menu (in this case “English”)
  5. Click on the ACCEPT button to finalise the text creation. If the process was successful, a corresponding message appears.

The text dataset is now created and it is shown in the table of the “Text list” card.
