Attribute properties
By default, the standard data model of iPIM offers various attribute properties: The following table shows an exemplary list of these attribute properties:
| Property | Description | Value |
| iPIM UI display: Lookup values are sortable (Identifier: SORTED_MULTIPLE_LOOKUP) |
Via this property you can specify whether the lookup values of a multiple list of values are sortable. |
|
| iPIM UI display: Show assets for lookup values (Identifier: LOOKUP_DISPLAY_FORMAT) |
Via this property you can specify whether the drop-down menu for selecting lookup values shows digital assets which are related to lookup values. |
|
| Dependent Values: Check all target values* (Identifier: CHECK_ALL_DEPENDENT_VALUE_TARGETS) |
This property can be used to define the following for attributes with multiple value sets: If multiple value mappings are set up for several source attributes and these value mappings ensure that certain values are set for a mutual target attribute, then the values that are set for the target attribute are supplemented and not replaced with each other. Example: Value 1 for attribute A means that value 1 is also set for attribute C, while value 2 for attribute B means that the value 2 is also set for attribute C. The property ensures that attribute C can have both values at the same time. |
|
| iPIM UI display: Enable editing composition attributes via dialog (Indentifier: EDIT_COMPOSITION_IN_DIALOG) |
This property can be used to specify whether attribute values of “Composite” type attributes can be edited in a separate dialog box. |
|
| IPIM_TEXTER_APP_DISPLAY_ATTRIBUTE | This property can be used to specify whether an attribute is shown in the “Attributes” card of the “Texter” app. Though, this only works for certain attribute types such as localized character strings. |
