Services

In the “Services” area you can execute different system services.

Empty server cache

Via this service you can empty the internal server cache (for partner concept configuration and localized labels).

• In order to empty the server cache, click on the START button in the respective card.

Toggle maintenance mode

Via this service you can activate respectively deactivate the maintenance mode.

• In order to activate respectively deactivate the maintenance mode, click on the START button in the respective card.

During maintenance mode, users cannot log on to the system.

Invalidate user session

This service terminates all current user sessions and logs off the users.

• In order to terminate all user sessions, click on the START button in the corresponding card.

Export changed products

Via this service you can find and export the product datasets which were edited lately. To do so, proceed as follows:

1. Click on the START button in the respective card to call up the corresponding dialog box.
2. Specify an editing period.
   1. Specify the begin of the editing period.
      1. Click on the button in the “From” field to call up the datepicker menu.
      2. Select a date.
      3. Specify an exact time.
      4. Click on the ACCEPT button to confirm your settings.

      1. Click on the button in the “From” field to call up the datepicker menu.
      2. Select a date.
      3. Specify an exact time.
      4. Click on the ACCEPT button to confirm your settings.
3. Enter the file extension of the export file format (e.g. .csv or .xlsx).

• In order to finish the process, click on the SAVE button. A success message is shown. The product datasets are now exported. Depending on the configuration, it might be retrieved via the “History” tab in the fold-out menu “Tasks”.
• In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

The actual expression of this service depends on the system configuration and requires an appropriate setup.

Export iPIM data model

Via this service you can export the iPIM data model as a JSON file. To do so, proceed as follows:

• Click on the START button in the respective card. Then the export is initiated. As soon as the export is completed, a corresponding message appears and the export file can be retrieved via the “History” tab in the fold-out menu “Tasks”.

Generate iPIM XSD

Via this service you can export an .xsd file for the standard iPIM ERP data import based on the iPIM data model. To do so, proceed as follows:

• Click on the GENERATE button in the respective card to call up the corresponding dialog box.
• Enter a file name as well as the file extension in the input field “File name”.

• In order to finish the process, click on the DOWNLOAD button. As soon as the export is completed, the file can be retrieved from your local download folder.
• In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

Generate import template

Via this service you can create an import template file for particular iPIM classification. The file format is .xlsx. In order to create the template file, proceed as follows:

1. Click on the GENERATE button in the respective card to call up the corresponding dialog box.
2. Enter a file name in the input field “File name”.
3. Select a taxonomy from the menu. Following this, the category directory of the taxonomy is shown below the menu.
4. Choose a category from the category directory. Possibly use the text search to filter the list of categories by a search term.
5. In the category directory, tick the category to select it. You can also tick multiple categories.

• In order to finish the process, click on the DOWNLOAD button. As soon as the export is completed, the file can be retrieved from your local download folder.
• In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

Rights

The identifier of rights are not shown correctly here as hyphens are shown as half square dashs. In order to search for a particular right in iPIM CC, copy the key to the clipboard and search for the key.
