Users and their user rights are managed via a three-stage system. This system facilitates the admininistration of a large number of users and rights. On the top-most stage are the users. The users can be provided with user roles. User roles in turn can be used to group particular rights. This provides the advantage that you don’t have to maintain user rights for each individual user. You can assign roles to them which cointain the rights which are necessery for their everyday tasks. User roles only need to be created once and can be assigned to numerous users.
The user right system which is specific for a client is defined during the project phase and implemented during the setup of the iPIM system. However, it can be modified by admins later on.
