The dashboard provides a summarizing overview of the digital assets in the present iPIM system which also includes the most important key figures.
Digital asset systems
This card shows the physical storage locations of the digital assets that are referenced in iPIM.
Apart from a list of the individual storage locations this card also shows the current number of digital assets in each location. Storage locations can be internal locations such as “iPIM View” or external locations such as external systems or servers (URLs).
Unassigned digital assets
This card shows the number of digital assets which are currently not in use. The digital assets are broken down by storage locations.
- For example, in order to use a digital asset for a product, call up the product in the “Product details” app and go to the “Digital assets” tab. Here you can assign the digital asset to the product.
Uploaded digital assets
This card shows how many digital assets were uploaded in the individual time spans of the selected time period. Depending on your selection, the diagram shows how many digital assets were uploaded during the individual days of the current week respectively the current month or how many digital assets were uploaded during the individual months of the current year.
In order to call up the upload statistic for a particular time period, proceed as follows:
- From the menu in the upper right corner, select a time period (week, month or year).
- Move the mouse cursor over the column of a time span. Following this, the number of digital assets uploaded during the time span are shown.
Digital asset utilizations
This card shows the different utilizations of the individual digital assets. For each utilization the card show the respective number of digital assets.
In addition to the distribution of digital assets across the various product digital asset relation types, the card also shows information on how many digital assets are used for content objects, localised texts, category properties and value sets.
