Taxonomy properties

The table in the “Taxonomy properties” tab shows the taxonomy properties assigned to the selected category. These are represented by the according category property attributes. Among them are the different quality grades. They provide information about the completeness of product data. The respective quality grade of each product can be viewed on the dashboard of the “Product details” app. Reaching a certain quality grade depends on the percentage of mandatory product data which has already been maintained. For each quality grade you can specify a percentage threshold that needs to be exceeded to gain the corresponding quality grade.

Using the column header tools you can filter table entries or adjust their sequence. In order to filter table entries you can also use the free-text search. And you can customize the selection of attributes that are shown in the table.

Add taxonomy properties

2. Optional: Enter a search term in the search field to filter the list of attributes by a search term.
3. Select an attribute. You can also select multiple attributes:
   • To select an attribute, transfer it from the left column to the right column . To do so, click on the attribute .
   • To deselect an attribute, transfer it from the right column back to the left column. To do this, click on the attribute.

• To finalise the attribute selection, click on the ACCEPT button .
  The dialog box closes and the selected attribute resp. the selected attributes are shown in the table.
• To cancel the attribute selection, click on the CANCEL button .

• In some sections, the button for calling up the dialog box possesses the button. Via this button you can call up attribute profiles with a pre-selected group of attributes directly. Click here to learn more.
• Using the icon and the icon you can transfer all the attributes from one column to the other column at once.

First introduced in version 5.4.3: Taxonomy properties can be added multiple times.

First introduced in version 5.5.1: In the sorting of the category property attributes, the attributes to which an sequence value is assigned are listed first, whereby the sequence depends on the assigned values. This is followed by the attributes without an order value. In the second instance, they are sorted alphanumerically. Attributes with identical sequence values resp. attributes without a sequence value are sorted alphanumerically.

Copy and insert taxonomy properties

First introduced in version 5.5.2: Using the corresponding buttons you can copy taxonomy properties from a particular category and assign them to another category. To do so, proceed as follows:

1. From the menu in the “Taxonomy search” card, select the subordinate taxonomy of the source category. Following this, the corresponding category directory is shown below the menu.
2. Choose the source category from the category directory. Possibly use the text search to filter the list of categories by a search term.
3. Click on the source category to select it. Following this, the taxonomy properties assigned to the category are shown in the table in the right-hand card.

6. From the menu in the “Taxonomy search” card, select the subordinate taxonomy of the target category. Following this, the corresponding category directory is shown below the menu.
7. Choose the target category from the category directory. Possibly use the text search to filter the list of categories by a search term.
8. Click on the target category to select it.

Edit taxonomy properties

You can edit taxonomy properties by editing the values of the corresponding category property attributes. To do so, proceed as follows:

1. Double-click in the table cell you want to edit.
2. Make the desired changes and leave the table cell.
3. Possibly make further changes to other table cells.

• In order to save your changes, click on the SAVE button. If the process was successful, a corresponding message will appear.
• In order to dismiss your changes, click on the RESET button.

Revoke taxonomy properties

First introduced in version 5.5.2: Using the corresponding button you can revoke taxonomy properties from the selected category. In order to do so, proceed as follows:

1. Tick the taxonomy property that you want to revoke from the selected category. You can also tick multiple taxonomy properties.
2. Click on the REMOVE button in the footer to finalise the revoking of the taxonomy property. If the process was successful, a corresponding message will appear and the ticked taxonomy property vanishes from the table.
