Archive product

Using the action “Archive product” you can archive a product. It will then be moved from its original categories to the “Archive” taxonomy. To use the “Archive product” action, proceed as follows:

  1. In the respective product data table, tick the product you want to archive.
  1. Click on thethree-dotbutton in the footer to access the action menu.
  2. Move the cursor over the option “Archive” to show the corresponding submenu.
  3. Click on the option “Archive product”. If the process is successful, a corresponding message will appear and the product will be moved from its original categories to the “Archive” taxonomy.

Since version 5.4.2: Archived products can be recognised by a corresponding chip in the search mask of certain apps. These include the “Product details” app or the “Attributes” app. Note: A product can be archived and active or deleted at the same time, whereby the “archived” status is prioritised. So if a product is archived, the “ARCHIVED” chip is always shown.

Reactivate product

Using the action “Reactivate product” you can reactivate an archived product. It will then be moved from the “Archive” taxonomy back to its original categories. To reactivate a product, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to the “Search” app.
  2. For example, enter the product number of the desired products in the input field “Product number” and click on the “SEARCH” button. If the search was successful, the respective product will be shown in the “Product list” table.
  3. In the table, tick the product.
  1. Click on thethree-dotbutton in the footer to access the action menu.
  2. Move the cursor over the option “Archive” to show the corresponding submenu.
  3. Click on the option “Reactivate product”. If the process is successful, a corresponding message will appear and the product reappears in its original category.
