Attribute profiles (action)

Create profile

Using the “Create profile” action you can combine selected attributes in a new attribute profile. The “Create profile” action is available in the “Taxonomy attributes” tab of the “Taxonomies” app. To use the “Create profile” action, proceed as follows:

  1. Access the “Taxonomies” app and go to the “Taxonomy attributes” tab.
  2. In the “Taxonomy search” card, select a taxonomy and a category. Following this, the category attributes of the selected category are shown in the table on the right-hand side.
  1. Tick the attributes you want to combine in a new attribute profile.
  2. Click on thethree-dot iconbutton in the footer to access the action menu.
  3. Move the mouse cursor over the option “Attribute profiles” to show the corresponding submenu.
  4. Click on the option “Create profile” to call up the corresponding dialog box.
  1. Enter the desired profile name in the input field “Name” and leave the input field.
  • In order to finish the process, click on the SAVE button. chevron to the right A success message is shown. The new attribute profile is now created.
  • In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

Update profile

Using the “Update profile” action you can overwrite the attributes of an existing attribute profile with selected attributes. The “Update profile” action is available in the “Taxonomy attributes” tab of the “Taxonomies” app. To use the “Update profile” action, proceed as follows:

  1. Access the “Taxonomies” app and go to the “Taxonomy attributes” tab.
  2. In the “Taxonomy search” card, select a taxonomy and a category. Following this, category attributes of the selected category are shown in the table on the right-han d side.
  1. Tick the attributes you want to overwrite the attributes of an existing attribute profile with.
  2. Click on thethree-dotbutton in the footer to access the action menu.
  3. Move the mouse cursor over the option “Attribute profiles” to show the corresponding submenu.
  4. Click on the option “Update profile” to call up the corresponding dialog box.
  1. Select an attribute profile from the menu.
  • In order to finish the process, click on the APPLY button. chevron to the right A success message is shown. The attributes which were formerly contained in the attribute profile are now overwritten with the selected attributes.
  • In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

Rights

Apart from the basic rights listed here, a user needs the rights that are shown in the table.

Note
The identifier of rights are not shown correctly here as hyphens are shown as half square dashs. In order to search for a particular right in iPIM CC, copy the key to the clipboard and search for the key.
