Transfer category attributes

Using the “Transfer category attributes” action you can assign the category attributes of a given category to an additional category. The action is available in the “Taxonomy attributes” tab of the “Taxonomies” app. To use the “Transfer category attributes” action, proceed as follows:

1. Access the “Taxonomies” app and go to the “Taxonomy attributes” tab.
2. In the “Taxonomy search” card, select the source taxonomy and the source category. Following this, the category attributes of the selected category are shown in the attribute list on the right-hand side.
3. Tick the attributes you want to assign to another category.
4. Click on thebutton in the footer to access the action menu.
5. Click on the option “Transfer category attributes” to call up the corresponding dialog box.
6. Select the target taxonomy from the menu. Following this, its category directory is shown below the menu.
7. In the category directory, click on the target category to select it.
   • Possibly use the search function to find the intended target category. To do so, enter a search term in the “Search” field and press the “Enter” key of your keyboard. If the search was successful, the category name of the the corresponding category is bolded.
   • To ensure that only the category found and its superordinate categories are displayed after a search has been carried out, move the “Only show matches” toggle switch to the corresponding position.

• In order to finish the process, click on the APPLY button. A success message is shown. The selected attributes are now assigned to the selected category.
• In order to cancel the process, click on the CANCEL button.

Rights

The identifier of rights are not shown correctly here as hyphens are shown as half square dashs. In order to search for a particular right in iPIM CC, copy the key to the clipboard and search for the key.
