Widgets are help applications, the functions of which can be used and are useful across modules in the iPIM system. They are installed as apps but, with the exception of the “Selection” app, cannot be started from the app overview, and instead are generally available in the iPIM Portal and, depending on context, also beyond it (e.g. the “Upload” widget in the iPIM DAM (Digital Asset Management) module).
