The “Active product” widget shows the product which was most recently called up in the “Product details” app.
Navigation
Via the corresponding buttons you can pin, unpin or collapse the widget. And you can switch to another widget:
- In order to pin the expanded widget, click on the

. - In order to switch to another widget, select the respective widget from the corresponding menu

Product number and Name
Under the topic “Product number” 
you can see the product number of the active product. The product number is linked to the product which can be called up in the “Product details” app.
- In order to call up the active product in the “Product details” app, click on the product number.
Under the topic “Name” 
you can see the product name.
Digital assets
The widget shows the digital assets 
which are assigned to the active product. By clicking on the corresponding buttons you can sequentially move through the digital assets. Furthermore, you can call up a larger view of the digital assets.
- In order to view the following digital asset, click on the
button. - In order to view the preceding digital asset, click on the
button. - In order to call up a larger view of a digital asset, click on the digital asset.
Status traffic lights
Under the topics “Status 1”, “Status 2”, “Status 3” and “Status 4” 
you can see the current product status of the active product. In order to modify the state of a status traffic light, proceed as follows:
- Click on the status traffic light to expand the selection menu.
- Click on a traffic light colour.
- Click on the button to save your changes.
Additional product informations
- Under the topic “iPIM classification”
you can see in which category of the primary taxonomy the active product is situated. - Under the topic “Valid from/Valid to”
you can see the validity period of the active product.
“Tasks” Tab
The “Tasks” tab 
lists all the tasks which are yet uncompleted. Here you can even mark tasks as completed.
- In order to mark a task as completed, click on the
button 
which is next to the respective task. - In order to show the message that was left for a task, click on the
button 
which is next to the respective task.
“Quality” Tab
The “Quality” tab 
shows you the quality grade of the active product. This includes a list of the missing mandatory data. For example, this comprises mandatory category attributes, prices or texts. You can also see the percentage of mandatory data already maintained. And the quality grade of the product is shown. The quality grade is measured by the percentage of mandatory data already maintained.

What does the “Active product” widget show?

How do I modify the state of a status traffic light?

What is shown under the topic “Other attributes”?
Under the topic “Other attributes” you can see additional attributes. In order to add an attribute to the “Other attributes” section, you need to create an appropriate boolean-type attribute property (e. g. “ActiveProduct”). Assign the attribute property to the attribute and set it to “YES”. This can be done in the attribute configuration of iPIM CC. And you need to assign the attribute property to the property apps.active-product.attributePropertyForCustomAttributes as its value.
Which right is required to change the state of the status traffic lights?
In order to change the state of status traffic lights in the “Active product” widget, the general right with the key “ipim-portal.active-product.update-states” (Identifier “iPIM Apps – Active product States Update”) is required. In addition, a specific right is required for each individual status traffic light: the key “140031” grants the right to modify the state of the first status traffic light, the key “140032” the second status traffic light, the key “140033” the third status traffic light, and the key “140034” the fourth status traffic light.
