In this subsection of the “Administration” you can trigger a synchronization of user rights, attribute data and suppliers. The various synchronization functions can be used to synchronize the respective data outside the scheduled system processes in order to assume relevant changes from the iPIM system so that these changes directly take effect in iPIM Supply.
Reload user rights from iPIM
In order to synchronize user rights, proceed as follows:
- In the “Reload user rights from iPIM” row, click on the
button to trigger the process. While the process is running, the button shows a progress indicator (
Synchronization running). When the process was completed successfully, a corresponding message will appear and the button assumes it’s original state. The user rights in iPIM Supply are now synchronized with those in iPIM.
Reload attributes from iPIM
In order to synchronize attribute data, proceed as follows:
- In the “Reload attributes from iPIM” row, click on the button to trigger the process. While the process is running, the button shows a progress indicator (Synchronization running). When the process was completed successfully, a corresponding message will appear and the button assumes it’s original state. The attributes in iPIM Supply are now synchronized with those in iPIM.
Reload suppliers from iPIM
In order to synchronize suppliers, proceed as follows:
- In the “Reload suppliers from iPIM” row, click on the button to trigger the process. While the process is running, the button shows a progress indicator (Synchronization running). When the process was completed successfully, a corresponding message will appear and the button assumes it’s original state. The suppliers in iPIM Supply are now synchronized with those in iPIM.
Rights
The following rights are required to use the “Synchronization” section:

- In order to be able to access iPIM Supply, a user needs to be related to at least one supplier.
- In order to make newly added rights effective for users outside of the regular synchronisation, you must carry out a master data synchronisation for users and roles. This can be done in the “Schedules” tab.
- The identifier of rights are not shown correctly here as hyphens are shown as half square dashs. In order to search for a particular right in iPIM CC, copy the key to the clipboard and search for the key.
