Price attributes

In this section of the transformation configuration you can define and edit price attributes. For example, these can be used to represent graduated or context-specific prices. Futhermore, price attributes can be used to import not only the actual prices but also price-describing supplier attributes such as validities and map them to iPIM attributes of the “Price” scope which in turn represent the properties of prices such as validities.

FAQ

What can be defined in the “Price attributes” section of the transformation configuration?

In this section, price attributes can be defined and edited. These control how price-relevant values from the imported supplier data are processed and mapped to the corresponding iPIM price attributes.

What can price attributes specifically be used for?

Price attributes can, for example, be used to represent graduated or context-specific prices. This allows different pricing logics, as they occur in supplier data, to be represented as part of the transformation.

What role do price attributes play when importing price-describing supplier attributes?

Price attributes can be used not only for the actual prices but also to import price-describing supplier attributes such as validities. These are then mapped to iPIM attributes of the “Price” scope, which in turn represent the properties of prices such as validities.
