Workboxes
A workflow consists of a series of workboxes that represend the individual tasks that are to be completed in the process of a workflow. Hereby, products are assigned to workboxes. The initial assignment to a workflow happens automarically according to a specified event trigger. Possible triggers a the adding of a new product or the adding of a digital asset which can be specified using the appropriate properties. When such an event is registered the respective product will be added to the corresponding workbox. After completing a task successfully, the respective product is passed to the following task of the workflow, whereby a workflow can be configured in a way that it splits into multiple parallel tasks. This way a product can undergo different steps of a workflow process.
Workbox roles
The access to a workbox role is bound to the respective workbox role. A worbbox role is a special role type that can be used to grant users the access to individual workboxes and the related tasks. Click here to learn more about how to create and assign roles.
